Health Center Organization

The Health Center is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, more than half of whom are patients of the Health Center. With input from many individuals and organizations, the Board makes decisions about what services we provide and how we can best serve the community.

The daily management of the Health Center is led by a chief executive officer and senior staff that includes people experienced in health administration, finance, medical, dental and nursing management, and development. We have more than 70 full and part-time employees, which includes physicians, nurses, other caregivers, and support staff.

The Health Center is funded by fees for services from MassHealth, Commonwealth Care, Medicare and private insurance companies; public and foundation grants; and donations from individuals, local organizations, private foundations, and our special events.
