The following fitness tests are administered to the 4th grade elementary students who take physical education:
- Pacer Cardio - cardiovascular endurance
- Mile Cardio (some schools) - cardiovascular endurance
- Curl Ups - a measure of abdominal strength and endurance
- Trunk Lifts - a measure of flexibility and strength
- Push Ups - a measure of upper body strength and endurance
- Back Savers - sit and reach, right and left
- Body Mass Index (BMI) - height and weight
The following fitness tests are administered to Morse Pond students:
- Sit & Reach - a measure of hamstring and lower back flexibility
- Curl Ups - a measure of abdominal strength and endurance
- Trunk Lifts – a measure of flexibility and strength
- Push Ups – a measure of upper body strength and endurance
- Pacer 15m - cardiovascular endurance
- Mile Run - cardiovascular endurance
- Body Mass Index (BMI) - height and weight
The following fitness tests are administered to the 7th and 8th graders who take Physical Education:
- One Minute Curl Up Test (President's challenge) - a measure of abdominal strength and endurance
- Sit & Reach (President's challenge) - a measure of hamstring and lower back flexibility
- One Mile Run/Walk - a measure of cardiovascular endurance
- Push Ups (right angle) - a measure of upper body strength and endurance
- Pacer Test- a measure of cardiovascular endurance
- Trunk Lifts- a measure of flexibility and strength
- Pull Ups (optional President's challenge) a measure of upper body strength and endurance
- Body Mass Index (BMI) - height and weight
